Mr. Marquis is the founder, co-owner and chairman of Invest West Financial Corporation and Pacifica Hotel Investors. He is also Chairman of Invest West Capital Corporation, a closely held venture capital company. In addition, Mr. Marquis also serves as Chairman of Pacifica Hotel Company. He has been involved with the acquisition or development of over 200 real estate investment projects, including over 50 hotel projects, and has been involved with the formation and operation of many real estate and non-real estate related companies. Mr. Marquis is directly involved in the approval of commercial and hotel acquisition and development projects for his companies. Prior to founding Invest West in 1970, Mr. Marquis was associated with Arthur Andersen and Company.
