Carlo Sarmiento oversees the financial operations for the WestPac Companies. He has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry as a CPA and real estate investor. Prior to joining the WestPac Companies, Carlo practiced as a certified public accountant and specialized in real estate taxation. Carlo is also the co-owner and co-general partner of several real estate syndications that own and operate self-storage facilities, commercial office buildings, commercial shopping centers and residential real estate development projects. Carlo also serves as the executive director of Santa Barbara Housing Assistance Corporation. SBHAC is a non-profit corporation that is the general partner in several residential real estate partnerships that provides over 1,200 affordable housing units in Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
